Otama is a manga artist who has been trying to write a romantic graphic novel about a woman who is into a relationship with a bondage artist who ties her up and gags her for romantic purposes. But since she has never been tied up herself she gets frustrated because she doesn't know the experience of being in bondage! When she was about to give up in her attempt to write her romantic manga, a burglar breaks into her apartment, it is some foreigner low status slacker who is wanted by the Japanese police and needs some money to escape the country. The bad guy broke into Otama's apartment looking for some money so he doesn't want to hurt her, instead he grabs her and ties her hands tightly behind her back! Once Otama is immobilized the bad guy drags her to the bedroom where he ties her body and legs. The bad guy can't speak Japanese and Otama can't speak English so they never have the chance to work something out, instead the bad guy simply grabs a bandana and uses to gag Otama with it so she won't scream for help while he escapes. Otama is left tied up and gagged on the bed, she struggles and tries to scream but her gag prevents that, and soon she realizes her bonds are too tight. But suddenly she also realizes she is finally tied up... and she loves it!! This experience being tightly tied up and gagged gave her the inspiration to write her manga, which was such a huge success and spawned an even more successful anime show that had 9 seasons and several spin-offs, and of course a terrible live action Hollywood adaptation but that doesn't count because all live action adaptations that Hollywood does based on anime show are garbage, just watch Dragon Ball Evolution, wtf how did that even exist?
